Adopting a Friend	There is a minimal $35 ADOPTION FEE that includes deworming and the pet's first set of vaccinations. Proof of sterilization (spay/neuter) and rabies vaccination are also required within 30 days of adoption or until the animal reaches sexual maturity (6 months). This must be done at the adopter's expense. Keep in mind that some of our adoptable pets have been vetted through Ogeechee Tech's Vet Tech program. *Your adoption contract also serves as a 30% off coupon for the spay and neuter of your pet if they are not already altered prior to adoption. This is reimbursed by the Bulloch County Humane Society's Animal Rescue Division.

Our shelter is always overflowing with puppies and kittens, but we also have lots of wonderful adult animals. Many of them are already housebroken, past the puppy stages of chewing, and some are already spayed or neutered, rabies vaccinated & micro-chipped! Also, keep in mind that with adult pets, what you see is what you get. They are already full-grown, so there will be no surprises with size later on.
